Meet Dr. Olena Ronan
However, after completing dental school, Dr. Ronan became discouraged with the field of dentistry, as every associate position she held constrained her in how she could treat patients. She knew that in order to practice according to her ethics and standard of care, she would need to open up a practice of her own! This is where the idea of Staten Island Dental Boutique was born.
Today, her goal is to provide patients with a comfortable environment in which they can receive exceptional care while learning about how to care for their smiles. Dr. Ronan will always do everything in her power to answer questions, help you understand any treatment, and empower you to make the best decision for your smile according to your lifestyle, budget, and personal goals. She always upholds the principles of honesty, transparency, and communication. Therefore, she vows not to commit to any treatment unless the patient themselves understands and is confident that this is the correct treatment for them.
What she enjoys most about being a dentist is being able to restore people's health while transforming their smiles aesthetically, too. Pairing her artistic eye with her extensive education and training, you can rest assured that your smile is in good hands with Dr. Ronan.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ronan can be found hanging out with her parrot, Lago, binge watching shows on Netflix, or exploring new restaurants with her husband. As a self-proclaimed foodie, Dr. Ronan is happy to dole out any restaurant recommendations if you’re looking to try a new place!
What to expect
Preparing for Your Visit
We understand that coming to a new place, let alone the dentist, for the first time can be an overwhelming experience. We are here to change all that by helping you know what to expect. Your first visit will be focused on getting to know you, your goals, and your needs. In addition to a cleaning and exam, you’ll also get one on one time with Dr. Ronan to ask any questions you may have. You’ll also work together to create a custom treatment plan.
Know What to Bring
When you’re visiting us for the first time, be sure to bring your ID, your insurance card (if you’re planning on using dental insurance), or another method of payment. If you haven’t yet, be sure to take a moment to fill out your new patient paperwork. Other than that, you can sit back, relax, and let us take it from there!
